該石油產品傾點凝點測定器是引進日本先進技術生產的，符合GB/T 510。該儀器采用壓縮機制冷原理，封閉式浴槽，配有傾斜支架及傾點套，并裝有智能數字顯示控制儀，使用方便、質量可靠，該儀器采用模糊控制原理和PID自整定技術，控制性能穩定可靠，是化驗室*的試驗儀器。 
該儀器制冷系統是由壓縮機、過濾器、毛細管節流器、蒸發器及各連接管路組成。制冷劑通過蒸發器吸熱膨脹，膨脹后的氣體由壓縮機壓入排氣管路形成高溫高壓氣體再進入冷凝器冷卻成液體，然后經毛細管節流降壓進入蒸發器蒸發吸熱從而達到制冷目的。制冷劑蒸發后又被壓縮機壓入排氣管進入冷凝器，這樣周而復始地工作實現循環制冷。溫度控制系統是由智能數顯控溫儀進行PID調節實現定點控溫，控溫儀輸出的控制信號觸發固態繼電器，使加熱管工作抵消壓縮機制冷系統產生的冷量，使其恒在我們所需要的溫度上。
